Would a lens intended for a 35mm film SLR camera be better than one intended for a DSLR?
In short, wouldn't it be better to get the older used lens cause it would be designed for full frame? I'm using a Sony SLT A55 right now, but if I decide to upgrade to a full-frame sensor in the future, wouldn't the lens intended for film photography work while the original APS lens fail?
You'll have to contact Sony for full information.
Most of the lenses intended to work on 35mm film cameras will work nicely on a crop sensor DSLR since the part that usually has problems (peripheral part of the image circle) will be discarded.
The best option would be to get lenses meant for full frame DSLR cameras. Some of the companies have started specially coating the rear elements of their lenses for dslr so as to minimize flare due to highly reflective sensor (unlike film surface which was not so reflective). Sigma markets their lenses with this written on paper. Nikon has changed their coatings but without adding anything about it to the information sheets.

Instant Film $98.77 Instant film is a type of photographic film first introduced by Polaroid that is designed to be used in an instant camera (and, with accessory hardware, with many professional film cameras). The film contains the chemicals needed for developing and fixing the photo, and the instant camera exposes and initiates the developing process after a photograph has been taken.
