Minolta x-700,charging the flash?
I have a Minolta x-700 camera and I was trying to work with the flash.
Does anyone know how to do this? I connected it to the camera (like the book says),and when I went to take the picture,no flash. So then I read that if the flash isn't charged there will be no flash in the picture.
So how do I charge it?
Yeah,I'm guessing its the batteries in it then.
Because I turned it on,and nothing happened.
Are there seperate batteries in the flash?
You need to turn on the flash. There should be a switch. Then assuming the batteries in it are fresh, it should start to power up. There's probably a light on it that glows when it's fully powered. There might be a test button that will fire the flash. Whenever you test a flash, make sure you're not pointing it at your face, because it will be bright! If it powers up and tests, let it charge again (shouldn't take long) and it will be ready to use. Remember to turn it off when you're not using it, to save battery power.
