What's a good digital camera for kids?
I am looking for a digital camera for my 8-yr-old daughter. It needs to be fairly intuitive, but she can use my $300 Canon just fine so it doesn't have to be overly simple. A few years ago, I bought the Fisher Price Kid Tough camera and was very disappointed. For $50, I would have expected it to take at least decent photos, but they were HORRIBLE-- worse than a cell phone. I want something that takes fairly good pictures for a decent price, and it is also important that it has sound with the video because she loves to videotape herself talking. I don't mind getting an older model or something used if I can get a better camera for less money that way. Any suggestions? Have any of you had a camera that worked good for your kids and wasn't too expensive? If you have any bad experiences with using a particular camera with kids, that could be helpful as well.
Nikon Coolpix L22 would be a good choice. It is a small size camera, easy to use and not too expensive.
