Control of these rare earth and you control the technology and energy economy of the 21st century

Without these rare earth there would not be much of an alternative energy industry ... Because there would be no magnets for wind turnbines the next generation in our wind farms to produce electricity or batteries for hybrid electric cars that zip to the highway.

Without these rare earths, we can say goodbye to space launches and satellites ... because there would be no magnets systems guide or miniaturized titanium or ceramics for rocket engines light or nose cones. As such, there would be no weather satellites, and monitoring weather forecasts and would decline, and there would be no navigation systems in our cars because there would be no GPS (global positioning system).

Without these rare earths, of our modern high tech lifestyle will go away as there will not screen TV, no iPods, no cell phones, no digital cameras, ultra scan and not because there will be no imaging devices Medical.

Demand for precious metals and rare earths most critical on the face of the planet is still booming supply is not. So why a growing demand and supply is not the creation of an outbreak of imbalance and other opportunities Investment?

Steve Forbes likes to say "more financial education, and the resulting financial literacy and empowerment, will open their eyes to alternative investment opportunities and be the key to recovery from the financial crisis. "

In this spirit, I will use this article to briefly introduce the rare earths, to provide some examples of why they are the key of Energy Technology and the 21st century economy, and highlight the drama being played out on the high seas is a demand-supply imbalance future with key players in Denver, Mt Weld, WA (Western Australia), and The Middle Kingdom.

Why the Middle Kingdom? National leaders of China to study these elements and know that without these elements much of modern economics simply close then they try to control and limit the supply (more on that in a minute).

Rare earths are 15 elements in the periodic table called lanthanides. As shown in the opening paragraphs, we are dependent on these rare earth for our modern lifestyle and energy savings the 21st century, as far as we are addicted to oil.

These items are rare because while they are on the surface of the earth, you need to find deposits that are significant in size in order to justify the economics of mining, milling and processing.

However, the only people studying these elements are MS / PhD level chemists, physicists and solid, and of course the national leaders in places like China.

Deng Xiaoping in China's sovereign 1980s/1990s said: "While there is oil in the Middle East, there is rare earth in China. "In 1999, the leader of China Jiang Zemin was and after a visit to the" rare earth "region of Mongolia, he declared a national goal to achieve "economic superiority" based on substantial resources of China rare earth. They are building industrial cities in the mining district of Mongolia called "lode" of rare earth with more than 15,000 doctoral scientists and engineers dedicated Works in most modern facilities of world rare earth ... the West has nothing similar.

So China is developing their middle classes, they consume Furthermore, exports are lower, and try to control the market for acquisitions and business practices. For example, if you have access to these minerals from China, or Chinese-owned mines elsewhere on the planet, then you must move your manufacturing facilities in China ... This course provides jobs for their emerging middle class. At that time, China produces 95% of global production REE.

Now here is where things get interesting.

The United States has a mine that contains highest level of world rare earth ore located in Mountain Pass, California east of San Bernardino and Palm Springs, California ... but still almost the border of Nevada and Arizona. It is owned by Denver-based Molycorp.

Previously, Molycorp was owned by Unocal (Union Oil of California) and in 2005, the Chinese tried to buy Unocal ... while the Chinese have said they wanted access to oil, many believe that the reason was a smokescreen, the Chinese really wanted access to the USA only rare earth deposit in California.

There are no processing facilities in the United States so that all the iron ore must be ground into powder sent abroad for manufacture of final materials for magnets, batteries, light steel, ceramics, etc..

In addition, these metals are very toxic and écologistes oscillates around threatening action to stop mining operations.

Now for the third stage of this 3-legged stool.

In Australia there is a company called Lynas Corp., based in Sydney that the controls that are believed to be one of the largest rare earth deposits ever discovered on this planet, at Mt Weld in Western Australia.

Recently, China has made an offer to purchase Lynas Corp. A few days ago, the Foreign Investment Review Board of Australia, while the end of the game, made a decision which would not allow majority ownership of the resource companies in Australia by companies or governments outside Australia, that these resources REE have been reported strategic assets.

China monopolistic practices (including price actually stop new start-ups), his attempts to buy and thus limit the supply, and its lax rules on environmental security, are the Empire Middle the driver's seat for the Energy Technology 21st Century ... the creation of another example of wealth transfer and power from west to east (see my recent article on one of the 5 E "5E-evaluation framework") and the staging for more dramatic the high seas, so to speak.

I hope this article has presented the importance of rare earths in Energy Technology and economy of the 21st century. For the past 200 years, the West has been able to industrialize and grow on the basis of a abundance of energy and resources. As we enter an era of scarcity, we must increase our education, to improve our literacy programs, and to monitor and pursue the creation of alternative possibilities of wealth as a way out of this economic crisis.

In previous Articles I wrote that many of us to evaluate the wealth creation of other strategies outside the U.S. Dollar ... outside the dollar ... may be active in emerging markets ... Perhaps energy resources that are inherently useful, as oil rigs, hydro, methanol plants or ... perhaps precious metals, water rights, oil, gas natural potash mines, gold mines ... or difficult things to build, difficult to replace, and expensive to replace ... certainly not the values Financial stocks, which definitely did not detail, certainly not commercial property.

I hope this article outlines a few more reasons why emerging markets with a demand for things that are rare (such as oil, food, water, precious metals, rare earths, and Potash) represent the wealth creation of alternative strategies.

In addition, a good book to read would be "Global Paradox" by John Naisbitt, where he provides insight and clues about the winners and losers in the global market as new rules for the emerging global economy that will determine standards of behavior and business policy from Tokyo to New York to Sydney to Shanghai.

I continue to monitor developments in rare earth resources and the market worldwide and to report on other wealth creation strategies in future articles and updates on my blog that is http://aspenibiz.blogspot.com/ href = "> http://aspenIbiz.blogspot.com.

How come it is very common for men to lose their hair, but very rare in women?

I mean left and Right you see bald guys or guys with a receding hair line. But how is its very rare to see a woman with a receding hair line? just curious ... I'm not losing my hair or anything: p

CAUSES Pattern Baldness Male Hormones depends on the presence of homrones men. The hormone best known is the male testosterone. Testosterone can be converted into a more active hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT) by an enzyme present in cells of the skin and hair follicles called 5-alpha reductase (5 R). Men with baldness have elevated levels of DHT in their skin. This hormone shortens the growth phase of the cycle of normal hair. The follicles also produce smaller, short hair and may stop making hair perfectly. Gene loss hair at a young age is passed through families. Baldness can be inherited from either your mother or side your father's family. This is not necessarily the mother or father genes. As you've probably seen first-hand side of the mother family may not have male pattern baldness and the father a lot of male pattern baldness ... the son can still have baldness - and vice versa. The age and age is another important factor. That men are older, the likelihood of men suffereing increases with hair loss.

Elvin Jones is in fine form on both 1978 studio session and 1979 live concert.Jones' ability to play with great power, yet accompany soloists with a nimble sensitivity, is a sign of his drumming genius. He knows when to spur his bandmates on to reach higher musical vistas, and when to lay back and give them space, an acute and rare musical intuition. Highlights include the album's opener, "Sweet Mama," which finds Jones unleashing a barrage of dexterous counterpoint on drums and cymbals, and the 26-minute live version of John Coltrane's famous opus, "A Love Supreme," which serves as a kind of homage to the great musician.

On the surface, VERY is the duo's most carefree album, a modern dance-floor update of the kitchen-sink production and swelling melodies of a classic ABBA album. Just barely underneath, Neil Tennant's lyrics keep their layers of mordant wit, but drop the self-protective irony in favor of writing truthfully about the lives of gay men in the early '90s, regrouping in the face of AIDS.To that end, the album starts with "Can You Forgive Her?," a drop-dead-gorgeous song directed to a closeted young man whose "girlfriend" wants to call off her part in the charade, and it wraps up with a completely heartfelt and unironic version of the Village People's "Go West" that views the unfettered hedonism of the original with a palpable sense of regret. In between, "Yesterday, When I Was Mad" and "I Wouldn't Normally Do This Kind of Thing" are among the duo's finest singles.
