How to change built in flash on a Canon XSI, SLR digital camera?
The flash is not firing. The screen displays the flash but the flash does not fire. We have checked all the settings and we believe that the bulb must be burned. A External flash works well and fires. Has anyone changed the light bulb? Can someone ask me how to fix this problem. Thank you!
Flash system is very dangerous, it can often be quite large charges stored in capacitors for a flash. It should be done professionally by Canon. I recommend buying a low cost ETTL compatible flash. A YN465 Yongnuo Canon is probably cheaper than a repair by Canon.
